Adobe Dreamweaver is an ultimate development tool developed by Adobe Systems. Dreamweaver was originally introduced & developed by Macromedia in 1997, and maintained by them until Macromedia was acquired by adobe systems in 2005.

Adobe Dreamweaver is available for both OS X & windows. Recent versions have improved support for web technologies such as Javascript, CSS & various server-side scripting languages & framework, including ASP, ASP, VBScript, ASP.NET C#, ASP.NET VB, coldfusion, PHP, Scriptlet.

Adobe Dreamweaver is a good web design & development application that provides visual editor & a code editor with some standard features such as code completion, syntax highlighting & code collapsing as well as sophisticated features such as real time syntax checking & code introspection for generating code hints to assist the user in writing code. The design view provides the facility of rapid layout design & code generation as it allows user to manipulate & create the layout of HTML elements.

Dreamweaver features an integrated browser for previewing developed webpages in the program's own preview pane in addition to allowing content to be open in locally installed web browsers.
